Triggering ID checks

Control which orders require verification

Triggering ID checks for orders based on specific products, collections or product categories.
For specific products
Triggering ID checks for orders based on the Shopify Fraud Risk Analysis, or by any other 3rd party app that integrates into Shopifys risk analysis system
High risk orders
Triggering ID checks for orders based on the the total order value, or total price. This is helpful for verifying orders that have a high risk because of friendly fraud.
By total price
Sending ID checks to customers by API, which will accept your API token and send the ID check to the customer by email and/or SMS.
via API
Send ID checks to orders with a high degree of specificity by controlling exactly which conditions qualify for an ID check using Shopify Flow.

Choosing rules

Configure verification requirements

Require customers that verify their IDs to have at least a specific age, examples include for alcohol, tobacco, vapor, cannabis, CBD products which require age verification with a drivers license or another form of identity to consider the customer eligble for purchase.

Cross check order details against the ID. Match the name and/or address of the ID against the name/address on either of the shipping or billing addresses.

Control if customers need to provide a selfie for biometric verification and face matching against the verified ID.

Control if users are allowed to upload files, or if all of their photos must be captured in real time to guarantee that they are live photos and have their ID physically present on themselves.

Viewing ID checks

Access verification results

You can view customer ID checks results including the collected images from the app's dashboard embedded into your Shopify or WooCommerce store.
